Recalls Installed ?

Got mine installed today. 40 miles on old shaft before it went. So I got the collar installed on a shaft with 0 miles. Hopefully this one stays together!

Got mine installed this morning, original shaft was in excellent condition, got over 160 miles on her now. Heading down to Central Oregon tomorrow to get some more ripping in. Stoked.

Who's your dealer?

My shop still hasn't called me!!

But they did say i would need to bring the sled in to warm overnight. No way i'm gonna drive 4 hours just to get this done. Is the overnight warming legit?

I have a dealer much closer, they should be able to do this once they get all their sleds taken care of right?

Call the closest dealer and tell them you received a recall letter from Polaris and ask them when they can get it done.

As far as warming overnight, I dropped my ice cold trailer at Carl's around 2:00 in the afternoon and they unloaded our sleds and had them completed and ready for me to pickup by about 5:30 the same day.

YES any dealer can do the update.
If everything checks out on the original shaft it takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Hose with hot water would take care of snow on sled.

So my dealer still didn't have any in.

Called cooke city and they did but would not do it without charging me for the part and labor?????

Called West Yellowstone a week ago and they said they could. Called them today and said they wouldn't but then eventually they did let me do it today. Was quick and easy. Although they didn't let me use the free VES voucher.

Can't wait to ride.

RE:collar availbility

We have Happy Face collars in stock they are not free but they are a much better solution
If you dont want to wait for a second rate solution that is free you can allways put the
Polaris collar on the non driven side

I may be wrong, but I thought I heard somewhere that a company in idaho was making the clamps for polaris.

Have you heard of any failures with your collar? I understand if it was already starting to crack that it will probably fail no matter what, but have heard of several failing after being inspected and the Polaris collar installed. Just curious, have installed several of the HF collars and all is good (knock on wood).
