I will let them install one so I get the free oil and keep my warranty intact but I will for sure be putting the happy face collar back on. Maybe I will put the polaris one on the other suide for piece of mind.

Same here...the Happy Face collar is twice the design of the Polaris collar made in China somewhere...

They can put it on the non-driven side if they want to, but it ain't going on the problem side when I have a $99 Happy Face collar

I called my dealer this morning and they said we should have them later this week. I'm not holding my breath on it though. They will even come pick up the sled and bring it back the next day. I hope it all works out. I really want to ride this weekend.

Did you get yours changed? I am sure everyone got the same letter but it does say that "any after market solution should be immediately replaced by your dealer".

Weller has not gotten theirs yet, but it should be anytime. Glad to see Polaris taking care of us!

We had both of our sleds in and out of our dealer today for the recall and factory fix. It was quick and painless. Now I have two Edgeworks collars that I will either sell or i'll put on the other side of the driveshafts. Decisions, decisions.

Got the recall installed Wednesday and put on 60 good miles thursday without a problem! very impressed with Triple S in West Haven for getting me done quick as I didn't even buy my sled there! Definitely will consider that when I buy another new one!

Got mine installed this morning, original shaft was in excellent condition, got over 160 miles on her now. Heading down to Central Oregon tomorrow to get some more ripping in. Stoked.

got mine put on today. put on 275 miles with no issues before the collar was installed.
