Rear torsion Springs

We have a Customer looking for stiffer than stock rear torsion springs for his 2014 XM 163. I have called a couple of different Dealers and am not getting a consensus on what part numbers to order. Customer is currently bottoming out all the time, he is a 220 lb guy and has an extra fuel jug, needs more spring lift.

Can anyone clarify which spring numbers to order for this sled?

503191024 and 026 have been suggested??

Thanks

CR

My heavier numbers for a 2015 Freeride 154 is 503192271 and 503192270. Haven't rode yet, but these along with the Hygear blocks, I barely have any sag on the 3 setting weighting over 300lbs. So might be too much for your guy?

Anyways, if somebody else doesn't chime in. Might need to find some better dealers.

Pretty sure your numbers will be round springs. Might work, but will look goofy when they should be square. Or guess the 14's are square?

Thanks guys

i got my suspension setup by monster performance out in new york. these are the springs i got with my kit.

see page 10 on this link (this is from monster performance's web site) http://www.monsterperf.com/2013_skidoo_spring_chart.pdf

this is a side by side comparison with the oem springs.

Thanks for the link Bocephus!

One would think that a "good" Dealer would have this info available.

Thanks again.

I can attest to the benefit of the Hygear torsion spring inserts. They make a night and day difference.

What your kit cost and what do you way I looking for a set up for me weighing 300 pds

Your BRP dealer has a chart that shows their choice of different springs for different weights . Sorry I don't have this chart. I am spoiled by a dealer that actually cares.
