i have a 2002 renegade that i am doing some mods to. the 136 rear suspension is first to go. i know that it is a 15" wide track. my question is, will a 2006 with a 16" skid fit under the 2002? is the 2006 skid 1" wider? can i still use a 15" track? thanks for any answers

What I understand is the track is widerand the suspension is the same width. The only trouble is (I found out the hard way) that the rails set different . For example a 144 from an 01 makes the 02 a 151 because of the set backon the 02. Also I bought some 05 151 rails and the were to big for the 156 track I was putting on my 02 ( went from a 144 to a 156 ) summit. So you have to take the into account to . Just some info I have found out.

you don't happen to remember the dimensions of those '05 -151" rails anymore do ya? i'm struggleing with a similar issue ...sliding a 162" track on a 151" machine.i was planning on using the '03 159" high mark extreme rails and pulling them back in the tunnel:cool:....but according to the doo dealers-"there were no such thing as the 159" rails (even though their website has the pamphlet for the '03 159" hmx!)my dealer says the only way i'm going to get dimensions is to order them in and find out for myself-$$$

What year sled are you putting the track on? The 151 Rails from the 05 were too long for the 156 I was installing on my 02 at the time.Wish I had them now installing a 159 track and need more.
