Rear Suspension on a 94' VMax ST

Gentldeman,

I "newbie" am looking at grafting a 144ish long track under my sled. I have some cash to play with but not alot and was wondering what kind of used skids/tracks I should watch for that wouldn' break my bank? Thinking of 1.5" paddles.

Thankyou;)

if your going with a 1.5 track, your into a driver change down to 8t. that will set you back a bit in itself, unless you have access to a press. i have a shaft with 8t drivers i would sell you, non extros. next issue to overcome is the tunnel extension. your sled has heat exchangers under the tunnel that crossover under the seat. you will need to fabricate some hoses to allow the use of the rear heat exchanger or eliminate it, if you want a stock type appearance. cheapest way out will be some rail extensions and relocate the stock skid, but you will still need a tunnel extension. straightforward project if your handy and mechanically inclined. other things to factor in the equation are new gears and some clutching changes.
