Rear snow flap.

Hey all.
was riding with a couple of pro 800"s the other day and noticed that the new sno flap lets a lot of snow fly right through it and I noticed people saying about the 800 running higher temps. So why not put on a sno flap off a 09 or 10 on it (a solid sno flap with no cut outs) and keep the snow in and let it throw it up on the heat exchangers..
So let's hear your thoughts..

the pro runs hotter cause it does not have a front cooler.

That is why I ordered a standard I have the front cooler!!! and no holes in my snow flap!!

if you wanted to get something without the holes you could get the flap from the standard rmk. same thing as the pro one without the holes.

good plan sir. My buddy said he might just add the front cooler to his Pro if he thinks its getting too warm, but I don't think you can just do that on these machines. I believe I read on here somewhere its a pretty big job to put the front cooler in this new chassis? Seems like you could just add some sort of double pass U-coolers for more capacity easier than anything else.

I rode some pretty hard packed stuff and with the scratchers down I never rose above 125-127. No problems here
