Are there any better (read: cheaper) options than the Patricks Custom Carbon ones? I love the idea, but at $300US (That's 1 billion Canadian right now), I'll just ride with the icebergs hanging off.

Ive always wondered if you could just wrap them with black tape and then take some black gorilla tape over that, almost free

Thought I remembered reading that silver foil tape worked. Was going to try it out this year and see since I have a few rolls laying around. Kinda ghetto but price is right and don't really care.

Either way it'd be FAR cheaper than PCC. I'd be all over that.

Been thinking of the tape, but hate the thought of pulling it all off to work on anything or it getting holes in it from twigs.

Going to try that Polaris mud/ice spray next ride.
