Rear mount apex turbo MCX intake issues....

Hey everybody,
I was just having a look at the rear mount MCX kit today and was wondering something. Since the intake is in the back on one side where the exhaust was, has anybody had any issues with the intake getting plugged up with snow in deep powder conditions? Just throwing the idea out there, as last year we had some wicked powder conditions that we hit and even our backs were covered in powder when we stop riding...

Any insight??
Thanks in advance guys....:D

CR racing has a deep snow intake for that sucker.......works awesome!!
:beer;
RS

Mine gets covered in most conditions. But it takes two seconds to reach back and knock the snow off

My experience showed me that it's not snow covering intake / filter that is the problem, even with CR type intake it gets covered with snow but sled runs fine anyway, the problem for me was when driving in cold weather and stop after driving in pow, all the steam building up freeze on the filter and the engine gets real problem getting air, and runs like crap.
An Nytro style intake or an CR intake is a must!

Thanks for the replies guys,
And TBird, love the videos, post up some more, I actually have the same apex as you, the RX10.
Thanks for all the input, I am putting in my order tomorrow, and have an appointment in October to install it. My new apex has 0kms on the odo, so i'll have to take it easy for a little bit before I let her see some boost....grr that's gonna be hard.
Later.
