Rear idler 2 wheel kit problems??!!

Hey there,

I installed the BDX 2 wheel kit a while ago and am now noticing some wear issues. The problem is coming from the track adjustment bolts, which were moved from the outside to the inside of the skid rails. When the rear suspension is compressed near full, the head of the track adjustment bolts make contact with the rear skid arm bracket. Contact to the point of bending the brackets!!

Have any of you that have the 2 wheel kit noticed this? I'm considering buying some shorter bolts for the track adjuster; however, this might not eliminate problem. Thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks.

Exactly correct...my sled is the 141 and I pulled them off cut 1/4 inch and they are now good to go. Wish they would have told me this with BDX as now the brackets are damaged.

i had a bdx 2 wheel kit for 3 weeks and blew it up twice on the trail just accelerating. the wheels just blew towards the middle and jacked everthing up. needless to say i no longer am using it. just my opinion

Were the wheel centered in between the knobs? I think you can install them backwards where they are not centerd. I could be wrong, or were the bearings walking off? You may have damaged the wheel causing it to be out of round. Any hard tail landing?

I pulled the track adjuster bolts out, inspected the rest of the parts which looked fine (bearings, wheels, etc...) cut the bolts 1/4 inch and reinstalled. Should be good to go now.

And luckily no significant damage done.

Thanks.
