Can someone with a new AXYS confirm materials on the rear bumper? And have you picked the back of the sled up from it and will it need to be replaced with something sturdier?

Rear Bumpers

The one I have sitting on my showroom floor feel sturdy enough, but it also doesn't have a gob of snow and ice to weigh it down. Won't know until we actually get these in the steep and deep is my bet.

There will be aftermarket bumpers out there on the market for sure!

Ive ran the stock carbon fiber bumper tube for 3 years. Even with the heavy 162 X3 track dug in as deep as you can get it them and the skid packed full of snow Ive never broke the stock bumper....So yeah, you can pick up the sled! Eric

At the expo in west Yellowstone, the 2.6" models with the quickdrive had the same carbon fiber rear bumper tube that the pro rmk's have had since 2011, and the 3" models had an aluminum tube.

I've only heard of 3" models showing up so far but they do have the aluminum tube from what I hear

Aluminum on my Pro 3" Axys. I have broken many Carbon and aluminum ones to know go after market. Plus a larger longer after market or even polaris accessory one will help the tunnel out.
