Rear axle aluminum washers.

Is there anybody that makes the outer axle washers in aluminum? I broke a few of the plastic ones on my RMK and before I convert my SBA over to a two wheel axle setup I was curious if anybody had made something for this.

Ice age also has a good option for entire axle replacement. I broke 3 of the plastic washers last year. Finally ended up just buying some big fender washers from lowes. Took 3 per side to make it work. Was much more solid but didn't look the best. This year I will likely be doing a full ice age axle

We have got two different set up's of stock wheels and 8" wheels in both 2 or 3 inside the rails. Made of all billet construction and are much stronger than stock while looking great.

This is the OFT-set axle with 3-8" SS wheels. The standard axle is the same appearance but uses the stock sized wheels.

No, they need to have a square track machined into the back of them to sit in the slot on the rails. You should make some Rick, it's a very common problem with new polaris sleds equipped with the 2 wheel axle.

I agree completely. While a complete custom axle would be nice, the factory two wheel setup works fine for me except for those stupid plastic end caps. I broke 3 or 4 of them on my RMK and it's the only thing that I'm not looking forward to with converting my SBA over to the two wheel setup. If I have to go with the plastic factory ones, I will order a back up set right out of the gate.

Thanks for the input Chad, I always appreciate product ideas. I doubt I'll make plane washers but I could sell just the outer nuts/bolts from our Big Nutz axle that would be a decorative/functional piece. They would be $44.95 in natural. Our billet inner nut on the Big Nuts axle does make them bomber, but if you're looking for something that looks good and still is functional I could do something for you.

For the Doo's (constant problem with them too) we would just buy the axle from the race sleds. The axle is larger thus the need for wheels that accept a larger bearing. Both good things if you like to jump your sled and no more pathetic plastic end caps! I would guess that would be possible with the Poo race sled axles too on the Pro? I'm definitely getting rid of the weaksauce stock axle on my Pro! And NO THANKS to these aluminum bling axles the aftermarket guys promote (along with their high cost). I'll take a chromoly steel race axle any day; steel bends, aluminum breaks. I could care less about a pound of weight savings or bling factor!

Have FUN!

FYI. I am not familiar with the doo race axle but both doo and Polaris both use a 1" adjuster slot. So there's a good possibility they could cross over.
