Really hope I'm wrong....

I have a bad feeling that we (the heartland) are in for a drought this summer.
3 weeks after ice off, and we're having 90 degree days and mid sixty nights.
July weather.
Lawns already turning brown.
Real ball sucker!
Like I said, hope I'm wrong.:face-icon-small-sad

I was thinking similar thoughts. We did get some much needed rain last night but it hit hard and fast with some flash flooding and then back up into the 90's again today. Supposed to get some temp relief later this week hopefully but not much rain in the forecast it seems.

We have been talking about this the last few days also. But not a drought. Just the opposite.

Yeah, crap storms just came through here, again. Hail, thunder, lighting, and some power outages. Maple went down and took out one small shed of mine.
Dang!

We finally got a little over an inch tonite 40 miles west of twin cities. We needed it!

Last summer my son and I started building a new house for him. If I were to say it rained every other day I would be exaggerating because I think it rained every day! The opening day of deer season in November it was 7 below zero. All the rain and a brutal winter set us back quite a bit. Seems like we are still on the same path. The good news, no forest fires!

For what part of the country?
