RE: Springs on the SBA

Hey all,

I am having issues adjusting my springs on my 2015 SBA. No matter what I do I cannot get them to turn by hand. The sled is on a lift, no weight on the skis or track.

Is there a tool for the retainers? My ski doo had one.

there should be a spanner wrench in the tool kit to help, but usually dirt gets between the adjuster and the threads and binds it up.you can try some penetrating oil and compressed air to try and clean the threads out . but you may have to split the adjuster nut if you cant get them to free up. good luck

sorry I didn't notice it was a 15, spanner wrench it the tool kit should be the ticket.:face-icon-small-ton

I didn't get a spanner wrench in my tool kit. Only came with the book, plug wrench with the torx end and the clutch tool for getting the belt off.

You wouldn't happen to have a part number for the spanner wrench would you?

EDIT: Found the part number. Apparently I was also supposed to get an emergency starter rope? Sounds like my dealer jipped me.

I don't have a number for one but you should be able to get a aftermarket one at any motor cycle or snowmobile shop
