Re-sizing Photos (software)?

Can anyone recommend a good shareware (free) photo re-sizing software? The stuff I have is CRAP!!

For XP, powertoys image resizer from microsoft. 5th from the bottom on the right:

+1. Keep that on my keydrive (electronic toolbox).

GIMP is decent too. A bit much for just photo resizing though, it's comparable to pornoshop and it's free.

On Mac I use GraphicConverter.

I use www.photobucket.com and let them resize my photos

1024x768 is nice for on screen viewing

www.gimp.org - Gimp is pretty feature heavy, closer to photoshop.
www.getpaint.net - Paint.net is kind of in between MS Paint and Photoshop, featurewise.
www.irfanview.com - Probably exactly what you're looking for in this case.

I like Canon's Digital Photo Professional you can do batch resizing pretty easy.
