Re: Is it a junk Stator

Re: Is it a junk Stator

Thank for input. Its not carbs, plugs coils or cdi unit. I swapped coils and cdi (good parts) right afer it went down. No spark.Sled is well maintained. And gets ran hard (When it runs )LoL. Its not a stocker by any means. I guess my next ?? would be is there a way to jump wires to test . I have read something about that but not too sure. Ohh and yes i did check all the switches. Seems im answering own ?? More than likely STATOR. Any more input appreciated.

Just thought I would state the obvious. Can you disconnect the wires down by the mag cover? If so hook a volt meter to one of the leads and see how much juice it's putting out. You will probably need a shop manual to do this so figuring out which color wire the stator wire is.
