Re-gear or not to re-gear?

I got a 136" 600 that came with a 1.25" and i'm putting on a 2", should I re-gear for the deeper lugs. my stock gears are 22 (top) and 43 (bottom). If I do re-gear how many teeth do I drop on the top 1 or 2? Thank you.

I would re-gear it I would look at a chart for that chain case and see what combo I could get away without having to buy a chain and swap the cheapest gear and try to at least .2 lower
example
ratio now is 1.62 i would try for 1.83 ish

personally if it was me id gear down to like a 19 or 20 tooth on the top but i am a big fan of lower gears. its really all up to rider preferance though, if you like how it goes now just through the other track on and see what happens. i wouldnt think that the taller lugs would make to much difference.

I agree totally with the ride it first mindset. I always change one thing at a time that way you can track what is and what isn't making a diff. I did the same thing, went from a 1.25 to 2 " but I had already clutched and geared prior for some mountain riding and never changed a thing after installing the 2" track. Still pulls like it should.
