News story stated they were able to communicate with the buried riders via radio. I wonder what comms they had. Was it a helmet mounted system or something with a speaker mic setup like a BCA.

I love my bca, but have any of you had the mic get plugged with snow? its happened to me a lot last year

Yes, that happens to me frequently on deep days. It freezes up the mic, so I can still hear others, but I cannot communicate with them. I'm thinking a small pouch made from SLP Prefilter material might be the answer?

I talked to them about this earlier this year they said they would look into it ive also had issues with the housing breaking right where it meets the radio it self, I talked about different design options and such, But they have replaced all 3 radios ive broke
