I lost my sled jack head north Sat afternoon riding with my girlfriend. We left the last meadow with it before the trail goes down and to the right and follows the creek. And I lost right there somewhere. Other sad note is I hadn't even use it one because it was so new, and today we could have used it 5 times!!

Gotta be missing some critical information for location....:face-icon-small-con

Hate to be the rider who locates it at 30-40 mph in a carve......:face-icon-small-sho

Headed north as in going to buff pass from the muddy creek parking lot.

The best place/way to describe the area that I lost my jack was-

Not quite half way to Buff Pass- as the trail goes to the right and downhill you can go of the trail to the left, go over the creek at the bottom (most people don't know it's a creek) and high mark up the other side (go right at the top) and then head east along creek, and the trail is to your right, you can keep playing until you hit the trail which goes left in front of you.

I had it after I left the before meadow, but not after the baby high mark location.

Yes I forgot to put the pin in when I took off from the trail head.

Yes I will get you some of your favorite beer if you return it, and of course you get some good carma out of it.

I don't think it will turn up until spring though.

Thanks for looking-

I didn't have a jack until last year, now I wont go off the road without it. Used it heavily last night on cottonwood....lol

Did you play around between the last meadow and the "y" or did you just stay on the trail until you got to the "y"? Thats a pretty broad area and it could have fallen off anywhere. If you stayed on the trail, then I'd bet you lost it at the bottom of that little pull and it's either a landmine waiting to punch a bulkhead or it was sticking up and some dude found it and it in his truck now. With all of the snow falling, chances are you won't find it. Bummer.

I left the last meadow, went past a family that was next to the entrance of the trail. After I noticed it was gone I went back to them and they said I had it with me when I drove past them. I doubt that it really fell off on the trail because I would have found it easily there.

As for someone hitting it I doubt it, and I hope no one does. From the y I walk the whole hill to the trail where I noticed it was gone. I then drove my sled over the area dragging my feet to feel for it on the sides of my track. I then ran over the area to turn it up with my sled with no luck.

It was a high jacker by Bill Harmon. If someone finds it I can identify it because it has special markings.
