just curious if someone could enlighten me with the proper adjustment of the exhaust rave valve on a 98 670x, have the shop manual but no real adjustment that i could find, thanks for the help

Turn the red screws all the way in. More power at lower RPM (quicker revs).

The red insert should be backed out till it is flush with the top of the housing. It is threaded so you just unscrew it. More power at higher rpm.

i've played with rave valve spring force and you will not notice much of a difference at all. in my opinion, leave the raves alone.
