Anyone used the raptor spring on the stock shocks on the axys? The only downside to this sled has been the shocks. They are decent but not that great on small chatter or big hits the middle ground is allright. This is coming of carls valved evols on my pro. But i dont want to drop 2 grand right now on shocks. Sooo how have the springs worked out and did you use standard or firm springs? Obviously valving needs work but i know people had good results on the pro if imagine same applys to the axys

Funny you should ask- our paths seem to cross often.. Anyhoo- Yeah I have the full set of Raptor TRS on my Axyz with the stock shocks.
Much improvemt on the front doing U turns- and not have to fiddle much with adjusting them initially-
The RTS is the one that this improves MUCH on the woops and ride-ability.
400 miles on them so far and 600 on the sled.
Worth the small investment.
Word of caution - it doesn't improve the rear sag if that is a concern.

Here is a pic of the RTS

What does comparing the stock front track shock spring have to do with the raptor rear track shock spring pictured?

I was thinking the same thing ????

I can say that the Raptor springs on a Pro make a difference and they are worth the upgrade. So I would assume the same on an Axys.

I did the springs on my Pro and really liked the change. Actually like the change so much, I sprung for a complete set of Raptor shocks and wow what a difference !!

Also, on a side note, Jake at Raptor is awesome to deal with as he takes care of his customers.

Telling and receiving is 2 different things....:face-icon-small-con That was my bad- should have caught that- and your correct SMF
Here is the RTS ( Stock ) pic length
about 1" difference total length- The TRS you get a better ride 4 sure- cannot compare the 2 just by length-
Just wanted to share the pic 's that shows the difference in the coil length and the rate difference.
