Raptor Dual Ski Setup

Just figured I'd post a few pics (albeit horrible quality pics) of the new Raptor X2 setup. I have not seen the kits before, so I figured some of you may have not either.

I wouldn't mind hearing some actual real world feedback on these things, from people other than Raptor reps, :face-icon-small-ton.

The price was around 1300 USD if I remember correctly, and that is for a polished aluminum setup. The anodized setups looked trick, but didn't sound like that was an option that was being offered at this time.

It also looks like the CMX snowbike kits come standard with this ski setup, so that's kind of neat.

I have a few concerns with these things, one being that some bikes have separate function forks. With the rebound and compression being in different tubes. Or with Kawis new triple chamber forks with each fork tube doing a different job. How could this work efficiently with a fork setup like that?

If you do a search for your topic before posting you can find some good info on these. We discussed these in a couple different threads last season.

What happens when you wedge a branch or a tree between the skis?

How well does this work when you are carving or sidehilling and one fork leg has most or all of the weight?

When you hit something, is the single fork leg taking the impact more likely to bend/fold/crease?

I actually tried to search for it, the search currently is not working. I have went back quite a ways in the archive when I've gotten bored and haven't seen anything on them. Thread can be deleted if desired by a mod.
