Ok normally I don't vent on here but today I just about lost it and I feel like I gotta let loose. I get to work and start working on a machine (I'm a heavy equipment tech). I go to my toolbox to grab a socket and my drawers will not open. SWEET! My toolbox just locked itself somehow with my keys, phone and wallet inside![Roll eyes  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
. My spare key was at home so it was no help so out comes the drill
. Ended up drilling it out and swapping the lock out to a different unit off of another guy's spare box. Needless to say I pi$$ed away a good couple of hours trying to get the drawers open and repairing the lock.
Meanwhile my phone keeps ringing, thing is I have NO clue who these people are. Somehow my number is showing up on their caller ID even though I never called the number nor know who the f*ck they are. After about the 3rd or 4th random call, I called my service provider (Telus) and explained my situation. They explained to me that other service providers allow their customers to key in their caller ID number and that who ever is calling these people that are calling me, made a mistake and used my number instead![Face Icon Small Confused :face-icon-small-con :face-icon-small-con](https://www.snowest.com/forum/images/smilies/old/face-icon-small-confused.gif)
. I counted the amount of calls I got today and so far I'm at 18.
Everytime I picked up, I had to explain the situation and pretty much everyone understood, apologized and whatnot. Then things got weird. One woman told me that my number was coming up with the area code 208...Idaho's area code. WTF over? I'm not too sure how that happens. She told me that she was gonna call it and see what was going on. I have a few distant relatives in Idaho but thats irrelavant to the situation. I'm gonna give it a few days to see if it stops and that the person corrects their mistake, otherwise I'm gonna have to change my cell #, which luckily Telus told me they'd do for free. Dammit anyways...
