Rain at 9000 feet/Summit County

Light rain/mist this afternoon in Frisco at 3.30 pm.Only seen it rain 3 times in winter in the 15 years I've lived in Summit County.Was warm today also,no coat needed to go to work at 9.30 AM,40+ degrees most of the day.Puddles at 9000' in January wtf?

Got home from work at 11 pm and just starting to freeze on I-70 Silverthorne hill.Was mostly cloudy most of day,but it did rain a bit.The rain is going to mess with the snow pack.Be safe.

same here on the gore.yesterday and today. 55 degrees and raining today @8500ft. so much for that "big storm" that everyones talkin bout. not to mention whats happening to the base.if it doesnt get colder soon, season may be over

How is the snow in Crested butte, irwin area for riding?
We were out there last year and there was an insane amount on the ground...

Is it worth the trip from idaho? or shall we look other places

I'm in the Eagle/Vail area and we had rain and drizzle junk up to 9200 ft the last couple of days. Higher elevations are getting more snow, but it is still a warm snow and a bit heavy.

Other than whiteout conditions it was very good at V/P today.Couldn't see sh*t but snow was good,kinda heavy but still fun,rode bunch of Jeep roads.

Lots of trucks in the lot but didn't really see too many people on the hill(maybe they were all at Mango's having Bloody Marys?)Regardless I'll be there Sunday AM around 9 Am in a silver Tacoma with matching topper and 2 place open trailer with salt shield,2 Poo's.Say hi if you see me.

rode today from elizabeth to Whitney...... just stayed on the trails.. .I guess there was enough snow to play @ withney.. but not enough for me..

there was snow @ 8000 Ft..... but once dropped back outta the trees headed to evanston turned to rain!!!
