Rail repair

Well thank you for the inputs on my bent rail question earlier. I was able to get them fixed and uploaded some pictures ( hope it works). The driver was the main reason that I tore into the suspension! Not real sure how I managed to bend one side clear over like that but a new set is now in and the rails I was able to straighten using a manual tubing bender. The local Polaris dealer said they had fixed a few this way. Guess I will try is out in the next day or so and see what happens. A stiffener will be added real soon. Thank you all again.

wow, I wasn't thinking about a bend in that direction. That bend, probably had something to do with that driver failing too. Did you say that sled rolled off a mountain?

That suspension must have taken one heck of a side-load impact.... rolling down a mountain would certainly do it I would think.....
