Can anyone tell me what length radius rods and tie rods are used on a polaris gen2 chassie with 15.5" front shocks?? I have a '99 chassie I am working on that I am having trouble with some aftermarket radius rods and I know it did not have 15.5" shocks from the factory. Any advice would be appreciated. Any other lengths anyone knows would be welcome also, like edge chassies. Thanks, Jay

Thanks Scott, really appreciate it. You've steped up more than once to help me out.

Here is what I have in my notes for GenII rmk rods...

Stock 39" OEM stance and geometry
13" shocks:
Upper 10 1/4"
lower 14".

14.5" shocks:
Upper 12 1/4"
Lower 16" for a 41" stance.

I have the latter set of rods with 15" fox floats. Tightened the rods in to make a 40" stance.

Thanks for the help Scott. I'm working on a '99 and the stock shocks are 14 3/8" extended length and I don't know the length of the stock rods. This machine has beat up aftermarkets that are 12 1/2" upper and 15 5/8" lowers with 10 1/4" tie rods. Are the rods longer on the '00 and '01s? I thought all three years used a 14 3/8 shock? I replaced one of the uppers, it was broke in half and mickey moused together, and I now realize I have a lower that has RH thread at each end. I am trying to decide if I should just replace it or get wimpy to make me a whole new set, I don't know if these lengths will work with 15.5 shocks. Thanks again for the help. Jay

Wimpy just got back to me with some lengths, I'm just going to get him to make me a new set, thanks for the help Scott. If your interested I'm getting 12.5" uppers, 15.75" lowers and 10.5" tie rods. Should be about a 40" c/c on the skis with 15.75" shocks.

I'm all good on rods, myself. But if anyone needs any, Wimpy is a GREAT person to go with.

I was just letting guys know the dimensions for future reference, you never know what you can find on here when your searching old posts. I know you weren't looking for any yourself. Thanks again for the help.
