Anyone ride in the Radium area? I am thinking staying in Radium April 1st. Just wondering what the riding is like compared to Revelstoke or Valemount. What are the best areas to go to?

There is some pretty decent riding around the Radium area.
We usualy head there about twice a year.
You can get to Garmin in Golden pretty easy from there. Area to ride are silent pass, bugaboos, forester, silver mines. Im sure there are more but they are pretty good areas to ride in.

Forester is really close to town in Radium, nice spot, not huge but it opens up if the visibility allows you to get up to the thunderwater lakes. Silent Pass south of Golden is another good destination, long ride in but worth it. Both are groomed regularly, although April may be late for grooming.
