racing fuel in ND

Airports! I use 100LL which I am told is 104 octane and is 4.00 a gallon. Isnt 110 race acually 105 or 106 octane and twice the price??

Depends on the brand Renegade pro110 is 108 mon, VP 110 is 107. I have thought alot about running av gas but I want to try to avoid dragging a drum, or atleast a 55gallon one around. VP sells a 30gallon which would be ok.

I have found one place in Bismarck that sells 110 but its turbo blue. Haven't heard much about that brand and I want to run a decent fuel. Spent too much money on this sled to let it burn down on cheap gas.

I have a 55 in the shop with a hand pump on it works great then have a few of those racegaz jugs for going out west. I think they are like 8 gal jugs that the snocross racers use.

If your up by Minot I beleive Wyatt Olsen could sell you some. He is part of Olsens Towing, and he supplies it for all the racecars on the track up here.

I am only 90 miles from Minot. Would you happen to have a number for Wyatt? Also what does he sell VP, Sunoco?

BTP in Bismarck would know.

Woodzy THANK YOU!! I had been calling everyone in Bismarck that I could think of that used any kind of race fuel. They all said the same thing there is a guy that sells vp but no one could remember his number. The guys at BTP came through!!

When I was stationed at Grand Forks in the '90s, I use to call 1-800-Race Gas to get race fuel for my roadrace bike. They routinely delivered to a automotive machine shop in Grand Forks so I would just meet the truck there. I would buy a 55gal barrel, store it in my garage on 4x4 blocks and use 5gal containers when I went to Brainerd to race.

What's the price now?

Here in Dickinson West Dakota Oil sells it for $8.75 per gallon. I think it is Purple Power or something like that.

I have been running 100LL because it's easier to get.

It was 4.00 last year i thought. Just went and filled a few jugs last week now its 4.50 here NE ND. I farm and the two airports i get it at spray for us maybe he just charges me his cost. IDK?
