racers edge, specialty sleds, or other

Hi all, just wondering if any of you have had any experience with these builders? I am from Calgary and am looking for a reliable, good quality builder for my poo d8. you opinion is greatly appreciated! thanks and cheers

Go to Extreme Machines in Sylvan Lake. His name is Dan and he is very good. Built some of the nices sleds I've ever seen and is a very good tuner. Goes by Captjacksparrow on here. His no. is 403-748-2219

all of these guys are great. darryl at racer's edge is one of the best as well. 403-254-8686 talk to darryl or lance.

Can some of you guys post photos, accessories, weights, descriptions, and performance results of sleds from these builders that you are recommending.

Let's see some samples of the work of these builders and some cool stuff that they are doing on the Polaris mountain sleds.

Saw some cool stuff at the various US Sled shows this fall with the majority of the focus on the power plant with turbo setups.

Depends whatcha want done?......If your from Calgary it's like this BRP has had a few meetings I'm sure with Racers Edge over the yrs to build a Mountain Sled........With a little help from you know who!

Call Dusty at Snowmobile Recyclers......He's as old as dinosaur dirt and is a wealth of knowledge...and rides a POO.

thanks so much for everyones input.... ill post some pictures when I am all done, I am thinking going with specialty sled.. they had a sled at the calgary show and it looked amazing! ooh and yes not looking at spending 45 grand on a sled hahah alittle out of my price rang;)

I think the dusty guy work on my girlfriends dads sled.. does he work on mostly skidoos?

He works on everything.....and like I said He is as old as dirt....but he is a wealth of knowledge and can steer you in the right direction whether it be him or another shop in the area.

Offer to take Him to the Buffet and he isn't so grouchy;)

I know its a tough one.. not looking at getting anything crazy done!... I just wanna lighten up the sled a bit... putting cr racing side on plus I wanna get a few things done to the rear suspension! maybe a nice powder coat or anodizing job some clutch work.... and I would try and so this all my self but time is limited and who noes if ill screw up or not! I currently have all the parts so i'm thinking it shouldn't cost and arm and a leg for the install! So I guess i really just asking for a shop that I know wont "screw me up the bum"... just a good quality shop that will do the work and part out some things to get painted.
