Any updates on buff pass/rabbit ears? Booked a trip to Saratoga for next week but looking for better options. Was in steamboat in December and it was great riding, they were getting dumped on.

Unless things get going again by then, be prepared to drink all night and sleep till noon.

Has anyone rode the last couple days? looking for a trip the 9th-13th wondering if it was worth the drive or not. some snow is in the forecast but not sure how much.

We all like to cry on the intertube, and love some pow.
But the for real is that there ain't much better than a beautiful spring day in the mountains on hero snow.
Sunshine, perfect temps, views every direction for 50 miles.
Chill out and have a great time!

I would, but time constraints from another rider in our group won't have the time.
Rode R/E today,Steamboat Ski only reported .5" new but rode fresh tracks most of the day,hero snow,go anywhere.
Was it my best day ever....no, but well worth going.I live here so I'm spoiled.
The S Dakota and Minnesota guys we saw in the lot sure seemed to be having a great time.A good day for us locals may be the best day ever for someone else.It all depends on your expectations.

It snowed for about 20 min on the Ears today.
Sorry to rob this post but I don't think I will be able to make it to steamboat powersports before they close today to get trail stickers, is there anywhere else in town I can get then tonight or tomorrow morning?
We got home yesterday after riding monday thru Thursday. Unloaded at dummont parking area most days....not the best snow we have ever had, but still had a great week! I would say about 6-8 inches fell on the north end up by buff pass. Made for great tree riding. Yes it was go anywhere snow but it was a blast! We even found a string of meadows and creek bottoms that clearly missed out on the rain the week before, as there didn't seem to be the crust layer back there.
All in all I would load up and do it again. Not over the hood powder, but made for some great exploring!
