R.I.P Joel Davis aka Jobi Davis former psi employee

Well just caught wind from a friend that Jobi Davis killed himself last night. He put a bullet to his head.
I really feel sorry for his tad colby and shelby his three kids he left behind.

As pissed as I was for him not doing me right on my 1080 I didnt want to hear this but to all those who were friends with him figured I would let ya all know. Please say a prayer for his kids and family that he left behind.

RIP Jobi.

Don't know him but nonetheless.... tragic. Why so much of this around Christmas every year? :(

knowing Jobi he was drinking pretty heavy. He kinda alienated himself from his kids by his actions due to drinking and his ways. to top it off his business was shot due to not taking care of his costumers and that probably had a lot to do with the bottle as well so basically every thing leads back to the bottle.

Sad to hear.

He always did right by me. Same with Bruce.

What company did he start? I had no idea.
What reservation? In Utah, or Wisconsin?

WOW. Pretty cowardly thing to do right before Christmas, especially since he had kids. No snow where he ended up.

I'm going to keep my mouth shut on this topic. My wife's father and brother committed suicide. That been said, you guys are insensitive p r ic ks. I hope no one you know or love ever puts you through that :(

I have lost a mother, brother, two uncles, and two cousins to suicide. I will never understand it. But I have learned to not cast any stones because it is not my place to judge!!!

R.I.P! Joel!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.:(

my thoughts to joels family, i;ve also lost a relative to suicide its not an easy thing to deal with.

None of us can judge the actions of others.

Thoughts and prayers to the surviving family members.
Pete

An older aquaintance of mine blew his brains out the other day. Tried to kill his wife, missed then shot his dog, then himself. His teenage daughter was there, luckily she never witnessed it.
I honestly think that people that kill themselves, are the pricks.

With what I've heard about Jobi in the last year, sadly, it does not suprise me.

I hope he's in a better off place.

Sad to hear.

RIP Jobi.

I have known several peeps that have ended their own lives and none of them needed to do it. They had families and friends that loved them and would have been there to help them. It doesn't matter that he screwed peeps out of money or motors, that he was hitting the bottle or had turned into a recluse. The fact of the matter is that he took his own life, robbing his wife of a husband and a partner in raising the kids and he robbed the kids of a father. If he would have just thought for a second and stopped to ask for help people would have been there. I can guarantee that.

By no means am I a bible thumper but it does say that taking one's own life is an ultimate sin and the lost soul will pay dearly for it in the afterlife or something like that. Having lost friends to suicide I feel very strongly about this. I know I would have dropped everything to help them and I feel that they let everybody down and they took the weak way out. So forgive my brashness, but it's how I feel. After the pain wears away the anger will take over with his wife and she will be very upset at what he did. I have been through it.

The guy cheated on his wife and got divorced many years ago. He had NOTHING to do with his kids or her... From what I have heard his kids thought of him as no more than a drunk **** up. So I doubt they are real sad about this. He made his bed and apparently he couldnt stand to lie in it.

You know its bad when people kill themselves and all that, but honestly its the most selfish cowardly thing you can do the only persons problems it solves is your own. While the rest of the people are left to pick up the pieces of all the problems you created. It may be harsh or whatever but I find it pretty hard to feel sorry for the guy. I talked to him on the phone probably 25-30 times when he worked for PSI when I was trying to get my 890 to run. He had alot of talent and really knew his stuff once upon a time... Too bad he decided to waste his life.

PJ, I wouldn't apologize. I lost also two friends to suicide...one was a co-worker and the other was a friend of nearly 30 years that I met when I was 6. I could be highly sensitive to the "insensitivity" in this thread too....but I'm not going to be.

Suicide is selfish, even if the person IS sick.

seriously how bad can it be? We still live in somewhat of a free country where you can have the freedom to make yourself into anything you want and have the potential to be as sucessful as you can!

I just dont understand?

I have had a few friends/family go through with this. The most recent was a good family friend Bob Swift (swift dodge sacramento, biggest dodge dealers in cali at one point) downturn in economy, wife left, kid broke his back, being born into money and not having to many cares/problems in his life the past few years I guess he just couldnt deal?
