OK,
Just to make sure-
Is it bolt on to an '04 600?
total price to ship it to me in Grand Rapids, Michigan?
Any jet/clutch changes from the Jaws pipe?

BC

Jetting is new

15 pilot
400 main

the old was 17 and 350...

As for Bolt on, I had to do some modifications to make if fit correctly but my Hawk was bent a bit.

unfortunately not enough snow on the ground to rip it around. I can say with the suggested jetting it starts better than it has ever in the past.

I may be able to rip around the yard tonight..

Let you know.

Any update TC?

Shibumi... I had a chance to rip around the yard in about 2 inches of snow. The machine seems to have plenty of pull..Hard telling though at this point. I can already say for certainty though that I like the machine better with a quiet pipe.

Its a bit rich of the bottom but a pilot adjustment should fix that.

Another update.... so we had about 7 inches of snow with freezing rain after. When I used the Hawk with the quiet pipe in these conditions I was getting some bog... I think the secondary is now shifting up to early for the new power of the pipe. I am trying to adjust the clutch to see if that helps.

This is a sign that maybe the quiet pipe has taken away some power.

Ok so after wrestling with my frozen Helix for 3 days I realize its a straight 41 and the 06 600 with the quiet pipe has a 50-44 which make sense to me. Little less power needs steeper helix.. I would says this change is part of upgrading to the quiet pipe.

One word of advice. The quiet pipe is not "bolt on". Here is what I had to do to make it work..

Modify the foreward most frame arms, they height needed to be cut down about a 1/2 inch. Cut a hole in the belly pan for the new exhaust. I also had a 3/4 extension welded on so it sticks out a little more from the belly.
