quik connect fuel lines

I am converting over to the quik connect fuel line mod posted by BigDawg.I was wondering,the pump outlets are both 5/16,but the connector to the fuel supply line is larger.Am I going to use the 3/8 clip on the supply line even though the tank fitting for that line is 5/16? Thanks for Clarifying

you will use 2 5/16 clips on the lines to the fuel pump and 1 3/8 where the fuel line hooks to the fuel filter.
