Quick question regarding silber control box

Just wondering if the control box for a 2011 Pro RMK with the 2011 Silber turbo kit is programmed for a specific sled with a fuel map or does it just add or take away fuel in relation to the stock fuel curve.

Basically wondering if that could be an issues that my sled is having (wrong fuel map)

Had a very boggy bottom end. Green set at 4. lowered green one light at a time until I was at 1 green light, only slightly better. If you take it from 1 green and go minus again it goes to a fast blinking green, which my understanding takes to fuel controller out and goes to stock in the green mode. Ran better but just trying to get to the bottom of it.

possible reed failure?? in 1900km's I have never had green below 3

chipped reeds with give you bog

could also be sucking warm air from under hood in deep snow?? Using cold air intake ?

The box is programmed with a map created by Justin at Silber. The changing of the lights affects that map not the stock ecu map. The controller box affects the secondary injectors at the billet intake boot.

pretty sure the box changes things on the stock injectors as well, becasue at install you plug the dobeck box into the stock harness on top in the TB's.

Justin's fuel map will add fuel to the stock polaris map. If the green led is flashing fast in that mode then there will be no addition fuel being added to the bottom end.

Is there any other options for people that might want to try another map, not one from Justin?

Where is your stock Air Temp/MAP sensor mounted? Once you put the kit on this sensor has to be relocated.
What are you current settings on the box? By Bottom End what exactly do you mean? I.E In the tress the in/out of throttle is boggy or if you go to WOT from creeping it boggs.

Justin map is very adjustable. You should be able to adjust the controller any way needed. I used his map on a custom built tube chassis with an 800 Dragon engine and it worked great. I don't want to go into to much detail about the code in the controller.

Ok. I am very happy with the way my sled is tuned now. I was just wondering if their were other options, for future reference. I know Derek puts out custom maps. Does dobek? Wut other company's put out custom mapping?

same as tylbz said i had the same issue really bad bog on the bottom, could barely get sled to go, just turn down the yellow/ blue mode and it will take care of the bog. i have mine at 1 right now. if you check silbers site now with the new kits he says to put yb on 2.

I just Zip tied the sensor to the chassis. Is that an acceptable relocation or does it need to be in the intake air?
