mavericks are really not that impressive, and are really soft so if you like to play in the trees and run stuff over they DONT LAST!! but they do well in the pow, but not really what i would call a highmarking track. there good cuz there cheap, but im not all that impressed with them.

Challenger is a better track.

The Polaris series 5 and 5.1, whichi is what the 155s are, is not a very good track. Plus the pitch of that track is different than your '02 drivers. Plus without either going to smaller drivers or doing a roll you won't get the 2.4" track under it.

i was planning on getting smaller anti-ratchet drivers but if i do get smaller drivers will that affect my gearing? ha by the sounds of things there are better tracks out there what would be a reccomended track? sorry about all the questions

can't go wrong with the Camoplast Challenger. People often overlook the 2" for the 2.25 and 2.5 versions, but i run the 151x15x2 and it gets me everywhere i need to go. and is night and day difference between the stock 141" i was running. also, no drop and roll or anything needed.

Yes, smaller drivers affects gearing.

MtnMaxMod has a great point. You can get a Challenger or even the Polaris 159 in 2" and they are great tracks and would make a world of difference in your sled without having to do a lot of work to get the under it.

I don't know why everyone is bashing the polaris 2.4 tracks.

I have to say its a "good" all around track. It hooks pretty well in the packed and runs good in the pow. I don't think it shines in any one area but is a good all around track.

In the powder it does something weird, about the time it trenches itself it will pop itself back to the top of the snow. Just have to stay in the gas and it continues to go when it shouldn't.

im not an expert by any means but i have road all tracks. attack 20, power claw, challenger, challenger extreme, i currently have the 5.1 the only downfall is hard pack. seams like same patter as challenger extreme but softer, works pretty well.

I'm with AKcoop, the series 4 polaris tracks aren't bad all-around. Two of my buddies ran 153 maverick's last year and didn't care for them, and they don't hold up like everyone said. Everyone seems to love the camo extremes, I've never ridden with one, but might try out a 162" this year. If you find a series 4 you won't have to change your drivers like you would with a series 5 or 5.1
