Hey I'm looking to pick up the tools to replace the belt on the quick drive. Can anyone tell me where to order some from? Thanks. Haven't blown belt but just in case.

Edgeworks QD Belt Tools

Call Don at 208-350-0060 or email him at edgeworks@gmail.com. He takes paypal.

Tell him you got the info from snowest. He will take care of you.

Just an FYI,

He is the guy that builds the heads for Carls 900 motor. Awesome work.

I got mine from my dealer . . . Carls Cycle sales. $35 to $40 if i recall.

All this tool needed stuff is really a waste of money and not needed at all. I have seen a belt removed and replaced on the hill and I have done mine with no tools when installing my new 3" track. I spend a lot of money on tools, but this is one that I wouldn't use if it was free. Sorry to step on the toes of the guys making these, but it is the way I feel.

I hear what you are saying breeeze... I've installed quite a few QD belts and again this weekend...

Without the tools IS possible for sure. But with the tools, two seconds to install the tools, and the same time to slide on the sprockets/belt, and less risk to stress the belt.

New belts are more difficult than used belts.

I'm about as cheap as they come... and I don't even own a QD equipped sled, but I do own the tools and have helped out people in the shop and on the mountain.

Chamfering the lead-in teeth on the sprockets also helps a great deal.
