quick drive belt tensioner

what are the thought running a tensioner on the stock quick drive belt ? better belt life ?

I don't know if there would be much to gain, just turned 1,800 miles of WOT mountain climbing on my original belt.

Lots of threads on this. Read your owners manual. The belt polaris uses can not be back bent, aka have a tensioner, it will damage the belt.

belt tensioners are a total waste of money on the stock quick drive and a gimmick to take your hard earned dollars. there are many better things to spend your money on the pro that will give you an actual benefit you can feel .imho
