quick Clutch Alignment Tool question

Yea, I just got one a couple days ago as well...my instructions say a&b should be flush against the outside face of the team secondary and the other end should lay in your driven clutch on the shaft portion and up against the stationary sheave....that's what i got out of it

It didn't say...but i would assume in against your spacers..:face-icon-small-con Although it did say set deflection first...

it didnt say in the SLP directions, i thought it was pushed in just wasnt sure because with it in Im way out on alighnment, with it pulled out im pretty close, and this is going off of .ooo in front and .020 in the rear or the secondary

I was just out in the shop and can't find the inst. that came w/ now...I probably waded them in a ball like you..Ha Ha...If you find the link to the deep snow manual at the top of this forum you can download it that might help...but if you shim out and have a flush edge on the secondary w/ .030 free play for the clutch to move you should be good:face-icon-small-hap

tool should touch front and rear of driven clutch when pushed in all the way...front of driven should have no more than 025 and back should be flush or no more than 060....from the manual:face-icon-small-ton
