I have quick clickers on my 04 Summit 800 and they were tricky to install when you get them spaced right out on the end of the threads of the clicker cam bolts locktite them good and try not to tighten the inner set screw to tight it will pull the threads out of the end of the aluminum style clicker I accidently did this along with others i have read threads about if you it actually only holds on to a few theards I didn`t trust this but if you order the XP cambolts they are 3 threads longer and give the clicker more bite they are not cheap but worth if or just buy the a complete kit offered by other places that include the clicker and cambolt it the sme kit I have seen SLP offer these kits have no experience with them Hopefully others will chime in and maybe give links to better kits!! that should discard this problem, you definetly get what you pay for sure wouldn`t want the clicker to come loose or off when on the hill, I still have to heli coil the clicker i mentioned I pulled threads on me cause with the longer cambolts it still is only holding on a couple threads, the others that I didn`t pull the threads on hold fine I need to put helicoil in that one to get a few more threads. also had to file the clutch just a bit and level out the surface of the clutch and file the inside corners of the new cambolts so when you pushed the quick clicker in is wouldn`t hangup or carve into the clutch while turning it. they are tricky install on some clutchs. hope other haven`t had these probs but I sure did, wasn`t so cheap after was all done.
Good Luck, Wildcard
