quick clickers for TRA clutch

on my 07 xrs I was thinking of putting on some quick clickers to adjust RPM on the primary clutch. any one ever used them, what kind and where to buy? I was in cooke last saturday (best riding in a long time) and I was in about 4ft powder and I couldn't pull above 7k RMP without adjusting the clutch. let me know what you think.

You're kidding right? Lots of info on here about these, do a search and you'll find your answer.

Between the Lines Design makes the best I think... What I use- easily move them with the key or your fingers. I wouldn't get the ones that replace the entire bolt, what I've "heard" is that they aren't always up to spec. I can't say for a fact as I've always got the ones that replace the nut and not the entire bolt.

Great, sounds like I need the nut replacement style. what would your recommendations be for where to buy?

Boy I have a different opinion, Had several sets with the nut replacement and have had failures losing the nut ,granted the 2010 has 3 additional threads and they dont fall off. However I run the straihtline 1/2 clickers which adjust every 100 RPM,s instead of the stock 200 Rpm,s.Its provides MUCH better refinement in perfect tuning.I have several sets and have measured the ramp rise with Micrometer and the are consistent,DJ must have run across an anomaly and bad batch with can happed even with stock parts.

Hello, I just purchased a set of quick clickers the nut replacement type and haven`t installed them yet will do that tomorrow, going to make adjusting alot easier and tons faster.

I purchased mine like most everything I get from Firstplaceparts.com on here good prices they cost $49.95 and anything over $45 from them is free shipping anyway ,everyplace else if found you had to buy more for free shipping or just had to pay it anyway.

good luck, Wildcard

Hello I purchased a set of the nut replacement quick clickers and they aren`t working out so well, the instructions say to loosed the set screw out flush then turn the quick clicker on the adjuster bolt till it touchs the inside of the clicker set screw and then back off 3 turns and tighten the set screw.

when I do this is will not allow the clicker to push threw or out far enough for the clicker to turn, I actually have to turn it out one additional turn for the bolt to push and turn unfortunelety when I tighten the set screw to it pushed threw pullin the quick clicker off the bolt and a thread inside the quick clicker out also so I did some research and come to find out the 3 turns only leaves 1 1/2 threads holding the clicker on and that to me isn`t enought I don`t want it to vibrate loose, so a friend and I decided we would take the clutch apart and grind a taper to the inside of the bolt head on the cam calibration screws and that would give some more room and could turn the clicker on a bit more, I haven`t done this and I`m sure it would probably work I decided to get new bolt, so

I decided to order the 3 thread longer 800 XP 2010up calibration screws like DJ recommended and I`ll give them a shot again this should give a safe few more threads so the clickers aren`t turned right out to the very end of the thread unfortunely they are $15 each.

I have also been trying to find a good place to but a team 200/290 spring??
they are more expensive then I originaly estimated. dealer wants $37 for one and most are $24.95 + 9.95 shippin for a Team one and that puts it back to the same price as the dealer. the Team spring I hope is better quality if not let me know.

Thanks, Wildcard
