Hello I purchased a set of the nut replacement quick clickers and they aren`t working out so well, the instructions say to loosed the set screw out flush then turn the quick clicker on the adjuster bolt till it touchs the inside of the clicker set screw and then back off 3 turns and tighten the set screw.
when I do this is will not allow the clicker to push threw or out far enough for the clicker to turn, I actually have to turn it out one additional turn for the bolt to push and turn unfortunelety when I tighten the set screw to it pushed threw pullin the quick clicker off the bolt and a thread inside the quick clicker out also so I did some research and come to find out the 3 turns only leaves 1 1/2 threads holding the clicker on and that to me isn`t enought I don`t want it to vibrate loose, so a friend and I decided we would take the clutch apart and grind a taper to the inside of the bolt head on the cam calibration screws and that would give some more room and could turn the clicker on a bit more, I haven`t done this and I`m sure it would probably work I decided to get new bolt, so
I decided to order the 3 thread longer 800 XP 2010up calibration screws like DJ recommended and I`ll give them a shot again this should give a safe few more threads so the clickers aren`t turned right out to the very end of the thread unfortunely they are $15 each.
I have also been trying to find a good place to but a team 200/290 spring??
they are more expensive then I originaly estimated. dealer wants $37 for one and most are $24.95 + 9.95 shippin for a Team one and that puts it back to the same price as the dealer. the Team spring I hope is better quality if not let me know.
Thanks, Wildcard
