Questions about my M1100T

1) How the hell do I get the tool kit out? I can see it above the right footwell, but it's jammed and will not budge. Do I need to remove the panel that your knees rest against to get at it?

2) My clutches are sticky, in particular the clutch fan. Not mechanically sticky, but like someone spilled non-diet pop all over them and let it dry. This normal? I imagine I need to clean it off.

3) Can someone post the dealer setup instructions? Frankly I don't trust my dealer...at all. Any dealer who says a chaincase will grind when shifting from reverse to forward unless you take all weight off the track (ie. pick up the back) until it is "broken in" is an azzhole. I want to run through the instructions myself so that they are actually done correctly.

far as the tool kit goes, pull the side panel, then pull back the 1/4 turn connector & you'll see it.

No pepsi spilled on ours, not sure what that would be.

The sticky stuff is normal, clean clutches and belt before you ride and all will be good:face-icon-small-hap And yep unlatch the does fastener on the panel your knees hit and you should be able to pull it back far enough to get tool kit out.

YEp sticky stuff is likely dried coolant from machining or a anti corrosion spray. I would use a degreaser on it then either brake cleaner or alcohol to clean it off. Use hot soapy water on the belt.

Grinding reverse

Arctic cat has a fix for the chaincase allready. Your dealer should know this.
