question on a 2006 m7 efi 162????

i have been a long time polaris rider but just reacently bought a 06 m7 efi with the 162 challenger, and have a couple questions. first i noticed it doesnt get very good fuel milage i went 48.2 miles today and came back with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel vs my buddie who has the exact same sled ecxept a 153 he came back with over 1/2 a tank is this normal? second i was looking at the computer up front on the air box and noticed it has two plug in outlets on it what is the one on the left for? sled is all stock i ride between 5000-9000 feet and i weigh about 245 any info would be appreciated.

Gas gauges on m's are not very accurate. If you fill up and check your mileage you will be in the 10-12 range

The 2nd plug on the ECU box is only for sleds that use the pipe temp sensor like the M6. The M7s didin't and should have a little rubber cap over it. If it is missing just tape it shut.

You can lean down the M7s with a adjustable fuel pressure regulator or the inline fuel reducer. Plenty of threads on here so you can do some searching.

yep m guages suck,,,ya still have 6 gallons left at 1/4 full on mine
