Question about what we now know?

Would you for the same money.......

Get a 2011 pro, and rk tek drop in, c3 belt drive, burandt boards it your self.
Fixing the possible motor issues. And adding a proven belt drive to it.

Or get a used 13 and leave it stock.

Knowing the Motor might have issues later other than the motor is better built than 11 and you may have drive belt issues?

You could rk tek the motor the next year on the 13 and I'm sure a aftermarket better belt or polaris belt will be out if there is an issue. And even though you spent more on the 13 it would be worth more 2 years later to get a 15 or 16 model.

Thoughts?

I thought long and hard about this. Ended up modding my 2011 rather than getting a 2013.

So far I have added: 2013 seat and throttle/kill switch, burandt boards, timbersled skid and tunnel gusset. zbroz a arms and exit shox, fly handlebars, 2 cool vents, new wrap. I also went with the MTNTK fix kit for the motor and new motor mounts. Was loving the sled, everyone thinks its a 2013. Then I lost my PTO crankcase bearing. Really wishing I had a warranty, because after all I just got the fix kit in and now i have to replace the whole motor (due to damage from bearing failure).

So my advice? Get the 2013 and let polaris pay to fix your stuff... :yo:
