I need to know what the lenth of the back section on a 2003 polaris 800 with 159 inch track is. if somone knows or can measure that for me that would be great.

I still have a 2003 VE 159 as a back up sled. From where the main tunnel (right where it angles up) ends to where the snow flap mounts its 32 inches.
Do you have that on a sled right now, and if u do is the track longer then the tunnel or does it line up.

I measured my 144 from the angle in the tunnel right behind the tank to where it bends down to the snow flap and its 31 inches on my 03

Ya. i just dont want my new 159 inch track sticking out of the back of my tunnel, i want my track and tunnel to be even.

Yea im doing the same thing and extending my 03 700 144" to a 159" and im going to just custom build the back section! Im going 2 build it an inch or teo longer than that cause i run a long aftermarket truck style flap some time and no flap others!

Ive talked to alot of people about it and the hardest part will be to get the heat excanger cut off where it bends up and the back section is going to be like a VE tunnel!
oh ya. are you going to buy rail extensions or buy new rails.

Ice age rails so i can run bigger wheels and less weight plus i tweaked one of my rails!!!

And i want to not run any wheels in the skid they just add unsprung weight!
