what are the benifits of haveing a fully cliped track vs every third? Also benifits of porting and where to port. Thanks

A fully clipped track has less friction. Rubber against the hifax wipes the window clean and produces heat.
Porting--drill (2) 1.25" holes down the middle of the track--any more will weaken the track. We tested 2 holes vs 4 and could find no difference in snow build up in the skid. Not enough difference in weight savings to matter.

So a fully cliped track would be better for makeing the hyfax last longer on hard snow? Any one have pics for where to port? I have a poo IV 151.

I have ran 2, 4, 5 across and cant say I noticed to much difference but some.
In theory it should rotate easier with less weight so by run less clips and $hit lots of holes it should take less energy to rotate your track.
I do know I never had any failures in the 4 ported tracks and the only sled I ran fully clip'd was my Big Bore.
