Question about simmons skis

I find them hard to turn with. Would it work to take one of the two carbides off? If I do which one should i take off? Outside??

One thing you can do that helps a little is to cut the carbides. Cut off the couple inches behind the spindle toward the rear of the sled. I've never tried taking off one carbide but cutting like I said will help a little.

If you take one of the carbides off, the ski will wear out much faster. Do you have two cutting carbides on it? I make my own wear bars for the Simmons, just use 7/16 hard rod, no carbides.

perfect, thanks for the tips guys, I'm going to take a closer look at my skis tonight. I'll decide for there. never thought of it. I love snowest;)
