Question about lowering foot pegs

I am wondering about building something to lower my footpegs. I am tall and seem to be scrunched up on my bike. I raised the handlebars about as high as I dare and that cable will allow. So I am thinking about trying to lower my foot pegs like 2 inches or so. Should be able to swivel the shift leaver down so I don't see an issue there. Will there be issues catching my feet do you think? I think it would help a lot so I can be more comfortable for a long day ride. Any Ideas or maybe someone has a product out there already?

The Fastway Adventure footpegs have a "low-boy" setting, but it's not as much as 2 inches. I'm 6ft2 and I run 2 inch bar risers and the Fastway pegs in the low boy setting. Yea, I could use a bit more on both, but it's pretty close. Waaaaaaaaaaay better than stock.

I used Rox 2 inch risers for the reason I am able to pivot them forward and get a little more room or pivot them back and and transfer weight and center of gravity. In the sitting position it is close but riding my bike I just think it would be cats azz to get a few more inches.

Custom tall seat, might be better.

I've got the tall Seat Concepts seat and the Fastway Adventure pegs, but still not enough.

Need to go Dirt Rider and the other hype places, and kick them all in the nuts for crying about the tall KTM bikes of old!

I'll just ride what I got for awhile, but so frustrating compared to my old taller KTM.

Keep your toes on the pegs. I hit a lot of rocks and stumps with my feet in the stock position, so I would be cautious about getting your feet under the frame/skid plate with really low pegs.

Aside from that, go for it!

I built mounts to lover my pegs about 1.5 inches. Keeps the legs in a more comfortable position and makes the bike easier to climb on to in the deeper powder. Yes my feet plow the snow a little more while side hilling.

I mentioned this once , and I still don't think it's a bad idea .

They make skid plates , correct ? Well why doesn't someone that has the material make protected stirrups in front of the pegs ? Sure would protect the feet from getting knocked off not to mention saving the boots from getting shredded from crusty snow conditions .

So much for my one chance of claim to fame in life :face-icon-small-hap
