2011, 800, RMK.
Prior to the ride, I plugged in the 10% eth resistor.
Running 91 octane Chevron (w/ eth).
I happen to notice the engine light as I was coming to a rest ~15-20 miles into the ride, it had not been on prior to this, I check my gauge quite often.
It displayed "524007" and "2".
Manual indicates:
Fuel Type Selected: 524007
Voltage Too High: 3
Voltage Too Low: 4
Signal Out Of Range: 2
Sled seemed to run fine; I feel the 10% eth resistor makes it a bit fat/rich, especially noticeable on the bottom end (4000-5500 RPM). Really feels like it could use an 'in-between' resistor, or needs a different map to match the extra fuel..
Anyway, what does this "Signal Out Of Range" actually mean? Even while the sled was idling the light went off, then came back on again. Upon shutting the engine off and restarting, never saw a light again.
