tired of breaking belts have broke 3 in almost 400 mi , dealer states polaris tells them im not properly breaking them in. Each one has approx 30 mi of trail ridding on them and same issue.Has anyone put chain case on yet if so what does it take:face-icon-small-sad Sled is at dealer now hope they find a fix or what issue is , sled is awsome.

think I am going to stay w belt drive for now ,understand from dealer polaris is possibly going to have a some kind of durability kit or poss update ,(this is just rumor have no facts on this) but have got almost 200 mi on 3rd belt now w 12lbs boost so we will see what happens :face-icon-small-hap

This is not a bad idea. I have a boosted 13 that is on the 3rd belt in 500 mi. First belt stripped and melted to gears. The top pulley was loose and the belt made contact with the turbo muffler. The second belt I broke at 60 miles on it. Apparently not broken in. Now I am going through the 100 mile break in again.

I have a 12 600 pro I could swap all the drive belt and jack shaft components and hopefully the 600 would be a better match for the belt setup than a race gas turbo.

I know that Allen at Timbersled has a complete Pro RMK "Take off" Drive train available that he took off of a brand new 2012 PRO to run the CMX belt drive... sitting on the shelf... I'd bet he'll sell it for a fair price.

Okay, I am doing the swap this weekend. I am on my 4th belt and tired of always spending my quality riding time working on my sled.

I'm confused as why you would need a new drive shaft? The 12 drive shafts are working on the 13s, you can't go the other way for a chain case setup?
