Put new turbo on sled with miles??

I have a 12 pro with 900 miles on it. Never had any issues with TPS sensors or anything really. I ran the PAR head and can, mds weights last year. Now have added SLP pipe and power commander and par helix but not too sure if it will be enough. Is it a good idea to put a new turbo kit on a sled with this many miles? Looking at getting a silber kit but I don't know how muchni should tempt it. And I know there's slot of horror stories out there but with all the 13 issues maybe sticking some boost on a 12 would be worth it. Thanks for your time and input

If you are set on installing a turbo with 900 miles on your sled, at a minimum I would refresh the top end. There are a lot of aftermarket companies out there provided different (read better) pistons than the OEM's. Check them out and make a decision on who's to use. There are a ton of threads here on SW debating who's top end kit is better. IMHO, any one of them are better than OEM.

I have a 12 too and I'm also getting a Silber Turbo. 13 would be nice, but I've learned a long time ago to stay a way from first year production of new technology. Not all are bad, but when they are it creates a headache.

I had about 800 miles on my 11 when I installed the silberkit. No issues at all for the next 900 miles boosted, my top end could have gone another season Corey at next level posted my pistons in a thread and they looked fine. I did have a bad reed but installed new stock reeds, RKT pistons and his head, corey sold my 12 kit so I could get silvers new 13 kit. cant wait to try out the new mods

That's great you got that many miles out of stock pistons, was thinking of at least dropping new pistons in just for sanity but I'm only seeing rk tek drop in kit and brad from power addiction talk about a mountain tech? anyone have good luck with any of these or others that I haven't heard of? What boost and elevation where you running? Was going to keep it conservative under 10lbs and mostly riding around 6000 ft thanks
