Push Turbo G GP fuel pump solution

The fuel pump diaphragm is sticking and not feeding fuel to the engine. My buddy had it malfunction when he was upside down and mine stuck on a 60% climb.

Unsticking and pumping by hand, followed by pulling the start cord a couple of hundred times to get the fuel flowing was my frustrating solution.

Has anybody that experienced this problem come up with a better working solution, either with the exiting pump or a replacement?

Anyone looking for feedback on the PG, I do like the performance of the turbo compared to the old head, air and exhaust mods. Much more pull and about the same cost.

Thanks

Sorry

I read this and was confused did not make scene at first. I had an issue with mine and it was an installation. I cut the O rings putting it together would not hold pressure. I then jacked it up and ran it and it then builds pressure as it boosted. Take it apart and see if the O rings are cut.

in fuel pump

When you install the pressure regulator is very easy to cut the o rings

they get cut.

I had to replace mine I had cut both. I also had a customer cut the little hose at the top of pump not letting him turn his pressure up past 25 lb.

anyone have the smart valves stick in tank when my fuel gets about a 1/4 tank or less 2 will stick shut and won't reopen i can hear the fuel pump whine and the pressure won't rise on boost i can pull valves out and open them and will be fine until i make a climb and i'll hear the pump whining again

Yes, mine and 2 other Push Turbo's are doing that. This popst is about that Very issue.

Is your turbo overheating? My local mechanic thinks that the turbo itself is too small to pull the heat from the engine.

ok i didn't quite follow what you ment with your first post i thought the pump itself had something sticking in it. Actually it's a long story but i'm running an aerocharger 66 with the push fuel set up so i'm pretty puzzled
